With the establishment of the SCASD Education Foundation last fall, we recognize that many of you have questions about our purpose, our mission, and our plan to enhance the educational experience for all students in our district. State High Senior Cycles 500 Miles in Five Days to Raise Money, Awareness


On March 28, Lewis Yeaple, a senior at State High, hit the 500 mile mark. Yeaple spent five days over Spring Break pedaling around Centre County to achieve a personal goal and support a cause that hits close to home.

Foundation Brings Teacher, Former Student Together


When Mary Robert, second grade teacher at Radio Park Elementary, opened her copy of the State College Area School District Education Foundation magazine, she was struck by an article on page 29. It was a profile of a student she taught many years ago, accomplished vocalist Danya Katok.
