Darla Hart Human GeographyDarla Hart wants to bring her Human Geography curriculum to life by giving students access to true stories and historical fiction. A $1,000 grant from the Education Foundation is supporting her efforts to build a classroom library for her students.

New FOUNDATION Magazine Features Latest Grant Awardees

 

Support Closet at Easterly 1The latest issue of FOUNDATION Magazine is here, featuring the latest round of Student Opportunity Grant awardees, including a story on the new student support closet at Easterly Parkway. Conceived by School Counselor Carissa Walter, the room offers items to students who may lack access to basic needs, like clothing and toiletries. In meeting these basic needs, Walter hopes to help students achieve their learning potential.
