The State College community lost a wonderful teacher and a dear friend who made a difference in the lives of countless students and her fellow educators. Mardi Lowry McDonough ’87 passed away June 1 following a battle with breast cancer. In partnership with her family, the Education Foundation is honoring her memory.

While we aren’t certain what the fall will bring, the Education Foundation is exploring new dates and new ideas for this year’s Maroon & Gray Society Banquet. Whatever happens, the Education Foundation is committed to celebrating our 2020 honorees and raising funds for students.
Thank you to the donors who helped the Education Foundation have its best year ever in Centre Gives, contributing a total of $10,695. This year’s Centre Gives event was one for the record books with 17,104 gifts totaling $1,839,143. Find out how gifts are impacting students and families.
