It takes a special mix of circumstances to create a football player like Jordan Norwood. Born in Hawaii, Jordan grew up in State College, where he played both football and basketball at State College High. He hails from a family that is both athletic and creative.

Today, he is headed to the Super Bowl as a wide receiver with the Denver Broncos on February 7.

Jordan graduated from State College High in 2004. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts in Advertising/Public Relations from Penn State University in 2008. His father, Brian Norwood, is an Assistant Coach at Baylor University and a former coach at Penn State.

Jordan is the second of five Norwood siblings – Gabe, Jordan, Zaccarian, Levi, and Brianna. Gabe is a former member of the George Mason University basketball team and currently plays for the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters in the Philippine Basketball Association. Levi plays football for Baylor University. Levi and Jordan both have an interest in photography and actively promote their photos on social media.

In 2015, he married his wife, Aleah, and he became a first-time father to their daughter, Franni.

During his career, Jordan has played for Philadelphia, Cleveland, Tampa Bay, and Denver. He has seen some success with all of the teams recording a personal best nine catches for 81 yards against the N.Y. Giants in 2012 and posting a career-high 23 catches for 268 yards with the Browns in 2011.

While he has also been plagued with several injuries throughout his six-year career, the Broncos are hopeful that he will be healthy enough to play in the remainder of the post-season.
