The foundation board of directors is excited to announce the launch of the Student Opportunity Grant program. Thanks to growing support from donors in our community, the foundation can now offer direct support to teachers, advisors and organizations that impact our students through a grant program.
Building on the success of this year’s event, the board of directors of the education foundation is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 2019 Maroon & Gray Society. Do you know a successful alumnus, a dedicated community member, a retired staff or faculty member, or anyone else who has made an impact on the State College Area School District? Nominations are open to the public.
A sold-out crowd, along with support from sponsors, advertisers and donors, helped make the inaugural Maroon & Gray Society a big success. The event raised $60,000 toward the purchase of new uniforms for the State High Marching Band and brought together our honorees, their families, alumni and community members.
